Unfortunately laws are churned out by the federal, state and municipal governments faster than they are repealed. Many laws that should be repealed stay on the books almost infinitely. Many are direct violations of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Regulations are used to skirt the issues and undermine the Constitution. Federal judges use judicial decisions to undermine the Bill of Rights. The telecommunications surcharge tax to support the 1900 Spanish-American War which was just repealed THIS year is but a minor example. FT
