The target is a garnetiferous ultramafic pipe.

You hit on one thing alluvium could have caused the anomaly.

Big geophysics such as seismic would cost as much as a small drill program. The target is coincident with a small round lake and we can get a water well rig in after freeze up.

I read a paper on seismic refraction being used to find deep paleo-channels for Au exploration in Australia. I remember one we drilled by accident that ran 40 ppb - that might have indicated something but at 650 feet we did not have a lot to work with.
