Investors have many different objective when then enter into a trade/investment, but if they just buy without having a plan, then they are setting themselves up for confusion or disappointment or both and that is what my comment was about. And my point is that if an investor has done the dd and made the purchase of a stock for LTBH, the noise and confusion created by short term traders, technical analysts, and emotional posters must be ignored. When a relatively new investor sees "the stock is broken" coming from the lips of credible LTBH investor with hardly any explanation about shortterm vs longterm perspective, cognitive dissonance results.
