<<I believe Amzon needs to be calling Home Depot. It is Amazon that needs the cash, etc. I
believe we can safely say that Amazon is a client of Forrester and in my opinion, they are very
biased LOL. >>

that's right. AMZN has no currency- cash? nope.
stock? nope.
accelerating growth? nope.

Nothing of any value.

You got it. You notice that we do not know what percentage of revenue Aamzon receives for the sales of Toy R Us toys, the handling fees, etc. My guess is Amazon was in a panic position. They were afraid of not having enough toys, the correct toys, etc. and the possibility of a huge inventory writedown was looming. In addition, toys for the falll selling season have to bought now and paid within 30 days and that would soak up a lot of cash. My guess is Amazon went to Toys R are Us and send let's make a deal and my belief is the deal is better for Toys R Us than they are for Amazon.

My wife must have agreed because she stuck another pin in the Amazon bookmark after hearing of the deal. There were only 6 pins at the beginning of fiscal 2000. Now there are 15 pins. My guess is there were 9 negatives in her opinion for Amazon thus far this year.
