It seems that many SSTI investors are fascinated with comparing SSTI to SNDK.. Many are attempting to show SSTI as a superior investment choice.

Besides the two companies operating in distinctly different markets, would the thread agree that SNDK's royalty stream from the CF tornado is the biggest factor that separates the two from an investment perspective?

Long SNDK and SSTI, just with a much larger SNDK position.

Aus, this is BIG news. Isn't the SD card supposed to begin shipping this quarter?

Maybe an Intel endorsement isn't worth much these days?!?
At this point it seems like Sony is one of the few companies left to endorse a SanDisk product or technology. Funny that SNDK didn't offer a separate press release about the Intel/Panasonic secure software.

It boils down to this...

***SanDisk has MMC which will be a great medium for unsecure storage.
***SanDisk has SDMC which has the necessary attributes to be a great medium for secure storage.

When are the analysts going to figure this out?

BTW, Shawn Fanning is on the current cover of Business Week. I think they should have given him a baseball cap with a SanDisk logo on the back. He could have made SNDK famous with all the cover appearances he has made the last few months.
