The "logic", to the extent to which there is any, is this: if chanting a mantra makes me happy, screaming the same mantra will make everybody who hears it happy. Not very impressive logic, I admit, but one doesn't expect much from those who chant mantras.

Now for something completely different.

I think I told you I read "Virtual War Kosovo and Beyond". I decided to re-read it since there was so much in it. Have you ever read Robert Sidelsky? He and the author have a spirited dialog about Kosovo in the book- via email- and I find my position is exactly that of Mr. Sidelsky for pretty much the same reasons. I intend to read Mr. Sidelsky's book "the Road from Serfdom: the Economic and Political Consequences of the End of Communism".

I'll get to Mr. Sidelsky's book as soon as I finish From Dawn to Decadence. I don't know HOW long that book is going to take.
