Pat,
Thanks for trying and responding to Merry. Thanks, Merry, once again. I don't take the analysts seriously at all. I just thought that maybe there was another route there. BKHM? I don't know enough to post an opinion. I staked a small claim, repeatedly, on three of the last four days, four times. That is, I bought at 63 in the AM and again at 55-1/2 that PM. If I had an abundance of cash, I'd buy again if it goes further down. But that's me and I don't want to influence anyone by saying that. I don't know which way the tech is going in the next five years. BKHM, to me, is undervalued because of an over reaction. For whatever it is (the silicon-based existing cheap technology applied to fiber), they are about the only one doing what they're doing, and their customers (NT, etc.) are fine with it and are also shareholders (5%? each). They are a bottom fish right now, and undervalued in respect to the rest of the valuations in this industry. Someone please correct me here. I already said I don't know enough to comment, but I did anyway. Take this more as a question than a comment. Hope to be able to contribute as I learn later on.
Regards,
Mino

OT, Pat, what do you think of Ditech Communications. They are leaders in Echo Cancellation technology, which could explode with demand in VoIP. But another field they are getting into is optics. They just announced a new optical amplifier. Is this news similar to Mitel's vaporware, or is this product a not so hot component, or are these guys really onto something.
