We were due for a split on June 5. Because of the Spring backwards event, we are behind schedule. We were *supposed to have reached $140 by 7/31. Through no fault of our own, we've fallen a couple months off-pace. --- A split announcement is probably worth around 17 dollars. (IMO) -JCJ

Dear Professor: IMHO SUNW management is very adept at determining the exact appropriate time to make a split call and see the stock rise back to its presplit price. Since a couple others have given their 2cents worth I am going to throw in mine. (I love these guessing contests gives me something to look forward too). Here is my guess: Toward the end of this quarter (9/30) or shortly thereafter it will become apparent that SUNW is going to have another BLOWOUT quarter. At the same time, SUNW will FINALLY announce the distribution of the SparcIII system. There will be a series of INCREDIBLE press releases followed by an announcement of a stock split probably before 12/31 and we all will have a Merry Christmas or Happy Hanakuh. Isnt this fun?? (gg) JDN
