Ultimately, the strength or weakness of a country's currency reflects the particular strength or weakness of its economy in relation to the US economy as it trades on the futures markets here. The Euro may very well bounce when England joins. But the question of whether the Euro sustains a rally depends on the strength of all the economies in question, especially, Germany, France and England in comparison to the US.

There is nothing written in stone here that says that the US economy will continue to represent the strongest global economy as this decade unfolds.
