Instead, examine how mother attempts to oversimplify the earlier discourse. There are four factors: margin account(s), cash account(s), marginable stocks, and non-marginable/OTCBB issues.

Using an example whereby one type of appliance and one variety of food are represented is self-serving at best, and a ridiculous oversimplification at worst.

How can you represent a debate wherein there are two types of stock and two types of accounts into one where there are one of each? You can't. Unless, of course, you're Mother.

This is, incidentally, the same logic that makes other peoples' defense of their positions - even where links and evidence are cited, such as the earlier insider trading discussion - mere "insistence," whereas her still unsubstantiated assertions of correctness somehow possess some greater order of legitimacy.
