Those don't mean the same thing, and the first DDR chipsets are sampling and have been formally announced. To an intellabee, that constitutes volume shipment. :-) Dan PS - congrats on the 1GHZ PIII showing up in retail more than half a year after it was announced to be shipping. CompUSA has an add in today's paper trumpeting their "exclusive" - an HP 1 GHZ PIII. I guess Jerry can finally let some of those 1.1GHZ Thunderbirds out of his office. How long will the tie last before AMD moves ahead again? One week or two?
