Wow! I had not seen that, but I guess the patent stuff continues to be a wildcard for rambus.

I'm not Paul Allen with gizallions of dollars to lose, so I would not let that angle be the only reason for me to buy back into rambus. But others may have a better understanding of the chances of success with the patent thing.

My reasons for not being eager to jump back in right now: my lack of excitement re their last Q earnings. (I thought it would sell off some after the earnings and it did- I should have gone short, but i was into other things and was not attentive enough to make a move.) Also i think the mkt could be in for some weakness after the fed meets, regardless of whether they raise rates or not. I think Sep/Oct will not be pretty.
