Marty, my interest isn't in the value of VUSA's stock to its shareholders, who are probably washed out by this.

My interest is in the market for intellectual property such as domain names, proprietary software, etc., that could be auctioned for the benefit of the creditors, such as the preferred stockholders. I work with people who facilitate such markets, and are presently conducting auctions for other 'dot coms' that have filed Chapter 11 or Chapter 7. The Washington Post has called them "vulture capitalists."

So, even if the value is not significant to the common shareholders, or even to the preferred shareholders, it may be of value to a potential purchaser, like those who acquired Boo.com's software and the domain names of some other crashed dot coms by private sale or auction in the past few months.

Doug (no position in AUSA)
