Paul, did you know that Sony is an INVESTOR in Transmeta? Given Sony's close relationship with Intel and Rambus, why would they invest money in a company which uses neither Intel nor Rambus technology, and then use Transmeta hardware in their product line? If it turns out that Transmeta notebooks have considerably longer battery life, are compatible, have reasonable performance, and are blessed by the Dali Lama, they may push everybody else out of the notebook business.
