Boy, that's a hard one. I have never sold Cisco to buy Nortel. I just pumped new money into Nortel, because they are the optics king and have a good head start in wireless. The only thing I can tell you is to go and start reading the Nortel thread. They have alot of good links there. In particular, Telecomguy has put a lot of good arguments for why Nortel is succeeding, although he does tend to be biased against Cisco.

The key here is to remember that this market that Nortel and Cisco are tackling is so huge that there is room for both for at least the next 5 years. To own one without the other is to leave a big gap in your tech portfolio. Anyway, good luck!
