copy of email I sent to Forbes
editors@forbesbest.com

Dear Editors:

As an investor, one of the first things on my due diligence list is personally contacting the company not only to verify information I've uncovered, but also to get a feel from the officers as to their plans for their company.

Just curious, but I was wondering what any of the Forbes editors would do if they were aware of a particular reporter writing an article on a company without at least attempting to interview one or more officers of the company? I can't
imagine such shoddy reporting being tolerated for more than a New York minute by any one on your editorial staff.

Yet I find that I am alarmed that you have honored a 'Suspicious' site as one of the 'Best of the Web':
napeague.com

I couldn't help but be befuddled by the 'Notice' written at the bottom of
web page:

'This analysis is based on publicly-available information and is no way
warranted by me as to accuracy or completness. I do not guarantee to advise you as to any change in this information.'

What could be the author's intent, I wonder, when he isn't willing to verify, to the best of his ability, his commentary on a particular company?

It leaves me speechless, not to mention suspicious.

I am awaiting a rapid reply from the Editors of Forbes Best so that I can revive my rapidly failing confidence in a magazine I hold in respect.

Sincerely,

Lindao,
The URL didn't work. It was missing a -http://www.napeague.com/A-index-of-Suspicious-Stocks.html
I understand your anger with Bob Davis, but I hope by pasting the URL we aren't giving him exactly what he wants, which is more hits to his site.
Good luck.
Susie
