Greg: Agree entirely on your comment regarding A, LU, and T. LU ("Lucifer") and T have a prominent place in my pantheon of "Stocks I Love to Hate", stocks with great resources and personnel that cannot execute and make for lousy investments. Other stocks in my pantheon: Kodak, Xerox, WCOM, Honeywell, Quest, IBM and HP.

Notice that it is not a coincidence that there is a preponderance of large telecom stocks in my pantheon -- in their never-ending quest (pun intended) for size and scope, they inevitably bite off more than they can chew and digest, spending billions acquiring and then trying to make sense of their acquisition. Quest's merger with US Worst is the best example of this. Vodafone is another.

I take it you mean poor execution. I don't know much about them, it's just a trade based on the chart but it will be interesting to see their earnings report on Thursday.
