You can take the boy out of the mountains, but you can't take the mountains (or the ocean) out of the boy. Actually, both of us spend way too much time in front of computers these days, but we manage to sneak out now and then, enough to get Joey's little sister firmly implanted in the family traditions. We introduced her to snorkeling last summer, at 4, and once she figured it out I couldn't get her out of the water. They will probably scare me to death when they reach the teens, if they do the same sort of thing that I used to do.
