Sorry, I was not clear enough, but I meant when biding on used monitors at a online auctions where they are selling large numbers of refurbs- you know the model but rarely the serial numbers and you cannot pick and choose the specific monitors in these lots. The monitors have the manufacture date stamped on the back with the ser.#. I think they should include the date of manufacture or range if in lots of these monitors being auctioned.
