Michael,just saw some media "talkin head"(don't know which head this was:)say,that a major run-up in NASD, S&P,and DOW is in the bag come October,because the FED will grease the rails to make sure it does.The reason given for the Fed doing this,is that they always do this going into an election as the incumbent "holds a gun" which says,"don't do this,and you are no longer an Independent Fed;your history".as a relative newbie,is their any historical truth to this??. pax max
