morning guys

well its raining here too. spent a fair bit of the night up watching an incredible thunder and lightning show.

i always find it interesting to see what other traders look for in charts. yours and mike's last few posts are worth studying because they are different from what i look for in a chart. we all have systems or patterns that work for us or we wouldn't be here today doing this.

i never look at fundamentals in fact seldom even know what the company name is although i do like to know the sector. i am a trend follower and always have both bullish and bearish stocks ready because it is so hard these days to know what direction the market is heading. tomorrow if the market is up i will watch to buy XRAY, MENS, CERN, LIN (among others) if they trade above fridays high and if its a down day i will short AXTI and NSIT (among others) if they trade below fridays low. i never jump the gun - in other words i will not trade them until they trade above fri high or short them until they trade below fri low.

i hope this gives you something else to look at on a rainy sun.

cheers charlie

Bearish? No way Jose. I look for less volatility and mostly uphill from here till Sept 8, before horizontal trading begins.

I'm taking a position in CORI & KIDE today, with the first as a beautiful medium term play (6 weeks, max).
