There is only one guarantor, always was and always will be...That is an ability to feed yourself and the world...Even in the height of its military might (perceived or real <g>) USSR was never self-sufficient...No amount of Gold or Oil or Foreign reserves counts...

Remember, I've called for the sale of US reserves for some time?

I don't care as much as the US selling or keeping physical gold as selling paper gold - SHORT.... When we get the answers to the questions of an audit of physical vs paper gold obligations and what the current jerks have done with the currency stabilization fund - and why there have been recent losses - then we will know something more.

Yes, at some point, questions will be answered. The many questions which went unanswered by this treasury.
