Curiosity kills me... Who manufactured that card?

It was in a Compaq Presario. About the only thing left from that machine is the floppy and the CPU <g>. Most Compaq stuff is proprietary..I believe it was integral to the mainboard.

I have a machine at work with a high end video card. I think it runs about $2000. I don't recall the manufacturer. I believe it has about 64 meg of RAM. If I were into 3D rendering it would be of some use. Resolution is the equivalent of a 4 meg 2D card. 2D performance is probably less than a Matrox Millenium.

My guess was that it was based on 3dfx's "Voodoo Rush" chipset. 3dfx did not have a 2d core at that time, their Voodoo graphics card was 3d only, so they basically slapped together a 2d and a 3d card into one.
