I don't agree with Ish's premise, but I don't think his comment was silly. If LBJ was pursuing the war as an indirect way of pursuing financing for the Great Society by deliberately inflating the economy - it would have nothing to do with the '90's boom.

My reply - Thanks FT, I didn't know the Vietnam war was in the 90s. Silly me, I thought it was a 60s/70s deal.

I didn't know Greenspan in the 90s was related to Vietnam in the 60s and 70s. Sorry I'm so dumb. Please explain how Greenspan was involved in the Vietnam war.
