Rande,

Has anyone here suggested a fuel cell "basket" of stocks. This approach seems appropriate for such a young, yet potentially explosive, industry.

I have not researched fuel cell companies, but you bring up a good point concerning the recent California energy issues. I agree that such crisis will "fuel the fire" for fuel cell growth.

So, anyone want to give up their top 3-5 fuel cell picks?

thanks

paullie

Rande, on fuel cells...we may see a renewed interest during the Olympics as Sydney is attempting to showcase "green" building techniques/technologies during their time in the spotlight. There will be a FC pace car leading the marathon. The bump will depend on how much the media latches onto this story as this will probably be the first time many of us have ever seen a FC-powered vehicle in use. I'm not expecting to see any major corresponding movement in stock prices but it's these kinds of demonstrations that plant the seeds of possibility in many people's minds.

And regarding CA and energy crisis...BLDP and the state of CA are already participating in joint development efforts, along with the DOE. So we should watch CA closely as they may be one of the first states to roll out this technology.
