PALM advertises the same sorts of things about the number of appointments, to-do items, addresses that can be stored. I think the general idea is to get across to the consumer that it can handle these tasks without a problem.

I downloaded the dataviz software which allows one to store and use Word and Excel documents about 6 months ago for a trial period. The thing is, putting Word and Excel documents on a Palm just isn't practical for me. There is too much scrolling involved (especially with excel) and if you have to make anything but minor changes to a Word document, you have got to have a keyboard (laptop computer). And then you have to have a computer and printer in the field to print out your modified document (again a laptop computer makes more sense). However, if it bundling the software helps to sell product, I won't argue.
