now, now... 1. Their board is getting better all the time. Not only are there a number of common players (BB, Merlin, etc.), but they have several impressive Fool-only regulars who could hold their own here if they chose to do so. (The Fool board's problem is not lack of talent, but rather low BTE and signal-to-noise ratio--something exacerbated by the absurd handicap of having to view only one post at a time.) It's only natural that as the GG community over there matures they would put stuff in their own words rather than ours. 2. Even given (1), they continue to bestow a number of bouquets such as this one--"Silicon Investor has an outstanding FAQ in the Gorillas & Kings Candidates Thread authored by Fred Manzo"--and include whole chunks of our FAQ verbatim. Just as I cross-post some of their stuff over here, so a lot of our stuff is cross-posted over there. Respectful cooperation rather than rivalry is in everybody's interest. 3. Actually, given (1) and (2) along with the demise of the non-Mudge SI G&K threads, I think we should delete point "R" in our FAQ, which now comes across as needlessly catty and targeted at them. tekboy/Ares@kidseventuallygrowupandmoveoutontheirown,I'mtold.org
