re: "* Depreciation expense was $148 million in Q2."

Please do note that if you back out the depreciation and allow for the 20% tax rate we get a cash flow per share of almost $2 . Untaxed (not really a fiction since they do not pay taxes on income yet) it goes to over $2.40/share.

THEY ARE AWASH IN CASH!!!!!

PATIENT REGARDS,

DARBES

milo:

Thanks...This morning's announcement by Mr. Sanders would seem to indicate that nothing has changed...All systems go wrt 3.6 and 7.2 million Athys in Q3 and Q4 respectively...Unless, as DRBES pointed out earlier, Q3 provision for depreciation and tax is on the very high side, operational eps in Q3 and Q4 respectively could easily be $2.00 and $3.00 respectively, which will, no doubt, compare exceedingly favourably with their major competitor's Q3 and Q4 eps even when their major competitor will include capital gains revenues(i.e. non-operational) in with operational income...Simply incredible, that INTC trades higher than AMD, when AMD's growth rate looks like it will be some positive mulitple of INTC's for the foreseeable future!!!
