How exactly do you arrive at this supposition? I have neither written or intimated that would substantiate this.

And NO, I have not read any details of RMBS patents. I have better things to fill my time with.
Whether it be pertinent or not, I merely pointed out that the idea of double clocking has been around a long time.
However, as I see it double clocking is pertinent to the clock, and not to the device it is driving, wether it be an sdram, a disc drive or a faster mouse trap. If RMBS were the first to patent it, and can make it stick, then power to them
