Re: How many donuts are produced in a day --
siliconinvestor.com
"An estimated 3.5 million Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made each day."

That's for the roughly 150 stores total nationwide.
A billion donuts annually.

Local paper says their glazed-donut machine is capable
of cranking out 3000 per hour. The cake donuts are in
addition to that, but more manual-labor intensive.

Prices here are 65 cents each for standard glazed,
75 cents each for fancy-icing cake or filled donuts.
Per dozen prices are $5.49 and $5.99 respectively.
How does that compare with the rest of the country?
