<font color=Darkcyan>Wrong Frank! Anyone who expects that runup to continue indefinitely is living in la-la land.

With a P/E of 9 and Earnings climbing.. I'm not sure if your just a total FUDster or just Insane. AMD has TON's of Potential.

INTC reduced to buying companies as it see's what AMD is doing to it's CPU business.

If AMD is heading to la la land, then INTC is falling into the ABYSS.

re:I AM NOT SAYING AMD DID NOT HAVE A GREAT QUARTER

I understand the screaming (CAPITAL CASE) part as you wish that AMD would take a single quarter and fade away since there is only 2 quarters of capital gains that intel can count on before hitting the brick wall

re: just as we Intellabees have had to get used to it

amd yet to enter commercial sector which would be brand new area to grow. That is for amd it would be and a new pain for intel as Itanium and rambus seems to be the last hope to stop amd. Are you betting your money that Itanium and RAMBUS are going to kill AMD?

Re:weakER revenues that did poorly after reporting.

right and that would still be true while amd is doubling their flash capacity each year and fab30 is just warming up for t-birds.

Flash pricing panic rather than anything else dragged amd down

AMD's margins are yet to get in the same ball-park as Intel's. Or yeah, good ol' argument about economy of scale that is used on Intel thread a lot is gone as Intel's deferred expenses due to lower than expected production are mounting up. Of course, my mistake, it was higher than expected demand that just ended up at lower than expected operational profits with higher GM. :-))

Intel is better find some way to keep customers as not even Dell likes monopoly of any component supplier. That was pointed out clearly on Intel thread few years back by a number of folks.
