Amazon firming mostly because it struck a deal with toysrus last week. The amazon thread people think it was amzn desperation that sent it to toysrus looking for a deal but my guess is it was the other way around, since toysrus last year was the e-commerce blowup at xmas - you had no assurance you were going to receive what you bought, etc.

So this will give amzn some cash and takes out another competitor.

thestreet.com

I am also expect a strong holiday but I'm watching yahoo to move and it hasn't yet, so far just targeted to amzn.
