Once again I find myself in the annoying position of having a major holding in Gemstar and not knowing when they will issue their earnings report. I had hoped that the post merger Gemstar/TV Guide would be more supportive of its shareholders needs and indicate the report date on their website, but a search this morning didn't yield anything. As a test, I phoned the gentleman who heads investor relations, Gary Gamino, at 7:45 Pacific Time, and left a voicemail requesting the information for me and my fellow shareholders on SI. I'll post the information if I receive a callback, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Most likely, Henry hasn't told any of his employees. uf@publiccompaniesshouldn'tbesecretive.com
