Nice steady trading this morning, considering how slow the market is. If it continues the shorts might get an unpleasant surprise when they get back from vacation....

Dennis,
There is an advantage for the cooker cutter approach of a "similar or same" foot print. At this point in their business plan, for me an investor, "same foot print or similar foot print" would mean that they can produce batteries with more or less the same energy density and similar shapes without requiring drastic changes to their current manufacturing set up, production capacity, or training for similar applications. For example, all other processing steps like degassing, distillation of solvents, life cycle testing, etc. do not require additional equipment or training. Testing batteries on recharge rates and life cycle take time and resource. They can safely build inventory to match the anticipated orders.

In Quality Control, this is known as Standardization. Standardization often reduces the cost of rework, waste, and improve profits and yield, as you all know. jmo. Ram
