What if the inherited farm is farmed, for the year of the inheritence, and then the heir sells it or uses it for other purposes, does the government come after you for more tax money then?

From what I remember, the land use must remain for several years in order not to be taxed as "best use."

If I can find an old Tax Facts around here, I'll get back to you with more detail.
