No,

Just a card carrying liberal democrat....Speaking of communism, here's another ditty from John:

"Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism it’s just the opposite. "

Say, e-bill, are you a Nazi?

"from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs." - Karl Marx

To many, especially to those who read this for the first time and haven't thought much about the differences among capitalism and socialism and communism, this quote sounds fair and reasonable.

But it begs the question, who decides what one's abilities are? Who decides what one's needs are?

In socialist/communist systems, a small group of bureaucrats decide whether one is or is not suited for a particular profession and how much "worth" that particular profession has in the eyes of the few who make the rules.

In capitalism, the individual decides what to be and who to marry and where to live.
