Hiya Fiberman,

<<He sure is glad as hell that he has found a good job with a wireless start up!!!>>

I can understand his view. There are a load of companies and people exiting the disk drive business, some voluntarily. Some companies are rushing to find new markets to tackle to hedge against their exposure in the DD business. For the companies with a solid footing in technology it is the latter strategy that I like the best. Those companies that can apply skills and assets to other businesses probably should have been developing these in any case. But one thing is clear to me. There is going to be sustainable growth in the disk drive business again, long before a competitive technology takes away the favored data storage position. I still think there will be some winners, though picking them is extraordinarily tough.

Conner isn't one of my picks to be a winner.

best,
Stitch
