Gregg Hoffman, Former SVP, Production at Walt Disney StudiosJoins Miracle Entertainment


LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Miracle Entertainment, Inc. (OTC: MVEE), a diversified film and production company, has appointed Gregg Hoffman as co-president of Miracle Pictures, the company's filmed entertainment production unit, it was announced today by Chairman Tony Cataldo, President Richard Abramson and board member, Martin Landau.

Working alongside Miracle Pictures co-president Neil Sacker, who also serves as Senior Executive Vice President of Miracle Entertainment, Hoffman will oversee the creative production of five to ten theatrically driven feature films per year with budgets in the $10 million - $45 million range and will report directly to Cataldo and Abramson.

"Gregg has an enviable production and development record and perfectly complements the business acumen of Neil. We have ambitious plans for Miracle Entertainment and feel confident that we have found the right man to spearhead our efforts to fully finance and produce commercial films for successful distribution through the major studios," said Cataldo and Abramson on Hoffman's appointment.

Hoffman joins Miracle after rising steadily through the ranks at the Walt Disney Studios over the course of the last seven years. During this time, Hoffman identified, developed and oversaw the production of numerous films including "George of the Jungle," "101 Dalmatians" and "Inspector Gadget." Recent titles under his aegis set for upcoming release include "102 Dalmatians" starring Glenn Close and Gerard Depardiu and under the Touchstone Pictures banner "Double Take" written and directed by George Gallo and "Corky Romano" featuring Chris Kattan, Peter Falk, Chris Penn, Peter Berg, Fred Ward, Vinessa Shaw and Richard Roundtree as part of an ensemble cast.

Prior to Disney, Hoffman held the position of Vice President, Creative Affairs for the independent production company Dayjob Films based at Universal Studios. He began his motion-picture career at independent production company PRO Film Works backed by the Becker Group.

Miracle Entertainment intends to distribute each of its films in North America through one of the major studios on a wide release basis while foreign rights will be handled through Miracle's international distribution arm helmed by Julie Savay Ross.
