In a paniced response to Intel's performance leading 1.133MHz CuMine processor introduced several weeks ago, AMD has narrowed the gap with the introduction of the 1.1GHz ThunderTurd processor. For the first time in a while, AMD not only trails Intel's fastest processor but AMD failed to even match Intel's speed with their newest release.
