I was under the impression it was around $8 recently.

Apparently big OEMs buying DRAM on contract are not as gullible as people think <g> Nor as busy, judging from Dell's results.

Fry's was selling 256MB PC100 SDRAM for $249 last weekend. It seems unlikely that they paid $8/64Mb for them, and certainly not $18/128Mb <g>.

BTW AICE shows almost all SDRAM prices down today. Funny how DJB 'misses' that info.
