e-bill, I see that none of the pro-Clinton gang have an answer for this very valid question. You simply cannot argue with facts. I have found it annoying that Clinton fans credit him with the turnaround in the economy starting one month after he was inaugurated when it is obvious that it takes several months to a year to see change as a results of fed policy. Bush said that things were on the mend. Clinton denied it. Bush was right. Clinton has benefited. The smartest thing that Clinton did over the last 8 years was to leave the fed chief in place. tp
