(OTCBB:SETO - news) today announced that it has completed the installation of the quality management systems (QMS) and training of the staff at Fuji Fabrication Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SETO Holdings Inc., for submission of the documentation to SIRIM, the Malaysian certification authority. Mr. Francis Ee, system manager, reported that everything is going well and FUJI Fab is expected to receive full certification by March 2001. The certification of ISO 9002 will assure the present customers and satisfy the requirements for the major OEM cellular phone manufacturers that FUJI is capable and certified to manufacturer rechargeable battery packs to their requirements, said Richard Tan, SETO Holdings (M) representative and business development director for all Asian operations. In addition, Mr.Tan Hun Chin, Corporate Director of SETO Holdings N.Y. and COO of SETO Holdings (M), said that ``SETO Holdings (M) increased the staff with an Internal Audit Manager Mr. Lee Cheng Wooi, a graduate of the University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Accounting degree with honors. Mr. Lee has a vast accounting background with Ernst & Young as audit manager, Price Waterhouse and others since 1988. Also joining SETO are Ms. Ng Ailing (Irene) joins SETO as the Financial Analyst with a LCCI Higher Group Diploma from Kolej Komuniti Mertajam with over 10 years of experience in manufacturing and bonded warehousing companies, and Mr. Edwin Tan Saik Chin as the System Administrator with a NCC diploma from the Institute Perkim Goon and with 5 years experience setting up and maintaining computer systems, while training internal and newly hired staff, as required.
