If you don't know what a speedpath is, who are you to be asking questions about steppings? Have you thought about applying for a job as a tech stock analyst?

Do you understand why the thunking mechanism that microsoft will use to execute 32 bit binaries on NT 64 will cause catastrophic performance penalties on a VLIW CPU? Would you design a VLIW CPU if you thought dynamic bindings was the future of software? Do you understand why HP is "giving" there VLIW CPU designs to Intel, why HP thinks they hold a technological wildcard that such CPU's will absolutely require?
