Hi all; Another industry pundit (DocMemory) was unaware that Intel had cast RDRAM off last year:

Until last month, Intel had promised that RDRAM would be the exclusive memory for the Pentium 4 (P4).

Certain Rambus longs would have you believe that it was always well known that RDRAM was not going to be used in the mainstream P4. The technical term for this is "sour grapes."
