My calculations assumed only 3000 wafers from Fab25(~50%) and only 1000 from Fab30(~20%).

I think your Fab25 estimate is probably high, and Jerry may be conservative in his estimates.

Elmer, my point was that we Intel-a-bees don't need to resort to the same level of pseudo-logic that the AMDroids use in their anti-Intel rants.

Anyway, I would hope that AMD is experiencing very good yields. It would tell me that AMD doesn't have much room to improve. And with Intel spending $6B to expand capacity, as well as going gung-ho with 0.13u and 12-inch wafers, where will that leave AMD? Scrambling to find niches which they can only hope that Intel (or Via/TSMC) won't cover.
