Subject: Re: Shareholder protection plan

Rumours circulating are due to a misunderstanding of a press
interview I had with CBC radio in Yellowknife where I stated
that SUF had been approached by Winspear on their wishing to
earn in to our Back Lake property where it is almost certain that
the Winspear orebody at Snap Lake (soon to be taken over by De
Beers) comes on to our property at depth.

Yes, we do have a shareholder rights protection plan. All this
does is give us more time to stave off a takeover.

Our greatest strength in a takeover bid is that the majority of large
shareholders will only vote for a takeover if it is in the interests
of all shareholders.

Best regards,
Chris Jennings
