Rambus is primarily used as a interface to DRAM. LDT will primarily be used in servers to connect scalable building blocks together into a high-end system. The purposes are very different. Trust me on this.

Of course, I guess nothing's stopping Rambus from suing AMD over patent infringements revolving around LDT. But I think Rambus already has their hands full with SDRAM and DDR SDRAM royalties.
