Joe-- Re: I think this is the new and improved Jerry, who talks softly....

I've heard this recurring theme about the new and improved Jerry several times over the last few quarters. Frankly, it's garbage. Jerry is the same old combative guy he has always been. In case you forgot the q2 conference call, Jerry's little dig on Intel's operating growth rate and balance sheet did not embody "talks softly." The overall company strategy of not trying to out-phallus Intel on cpu speeds may or may not different (and may or may not be wise, since now when AMD is probably actually capable of trumping Intel it chooses not to do so, but when AMD didn't have the requisite equipment to do so, it used extensive overstatement). This misstatement of actual possibility makes the stock a great buying opportunity since people have past bravado indelibly burned in their souls, to the point that they aren't capable of judging the present very accurately, but I digress.
