I never have cared which way this market goes. To the moon or in the dumper -- just do not care. I have no doubt that in the medium-term we will throw that rod, but in the meantime I only want to be on the right side of the trade.

Now, outside the tech's, the market has made a powerful move that by definition shows the bulls are much stronger than the bears. I do not know where the upside of this is, but I will not hesitate to add to my longs if the internals keep improving.

It is nearly inconceivable to me that continued strength in NYA and the Dow will not spillover to tech's. The NYA issues are already morphing the more mixed charts such as SPX/OEX. I have posited that we could see extreme rotation out of tech's, but this has limits and would not be enough to power the move for very long.

You know how some posters use thread counts in various ways as leading indicators. Too many posts on MDD used to be seen as a signal of a bottom. Regarding this thread and its participants, I have noticed that when the bulls begin to taunt this thread and/or its principals, a top is very close.

With each strange twist there is opportunity. If the NASDAQ should take out the downtrend line from the March peak, it will be a wonderful time to buy another 1/3 of puts. This line is currently at ~3920 and will be at ~3890 by Friday. Personally, I would consider no options before November.

Will miss today because of other business. Best of luck and you can all GFY. -g
