I'm not sure how the market is going to take this earnings report.

1. There is no TV Guide data, they will most likely delay taking any serious until the aggregate numbers can be viewed in more detail.

2. No long-term advertising contracts yet. This was key, and I'm sure larger contracts are the recipe for a nice run up in share price.

3. Advertising revenue has not grow in stellar proportion yet. This also is something the market is going to want to see before blowing up this stock to sky high levels.

Optimistic, and probabilistic is likely the sentiment felt by the market at this point ... I'm just not sure if they are ready to translate those feelings into enthusiastic at this point in time. We'll know a lot more come the next earnings report.

... And I sure hope GMST has come up with some big fish by then, that would make everyone here rest much easier.

Cautious is how I feel, which is why with respect to timing a buy on GMST, the IDEAL technical move would be to buy at a breakout right around $80. If the market likes the news, it WILL fly, if not then then the breakout will fizzle. You get instantaneous and precise feedback, what more could a stock buyer ask for.

Long-term it probably would not hurt to buy and hold, but I still regard timing your buy as a smart thing to do, even if you are a long-term investor. In this regard, it still would not be a bad idea to wait and see what happens around $80.

Best to all GMST longs!
